  • Brian is an awesome friend and worker. You get so much work done even with 1 additional person. Crack on 🎉

I love it when you give a detail explanation on what you are doing and then end with the phrase "That's the plan anyways." So true....

Dan's willingness to tackle the seemingly futile is inspirational. He didn't see a missing roof, he saw opportunity. Fabulous!
  • The very idea of young Brits reconstructing iconic French chateaus is beyond epic... the very idea is so bonkers it makes perfect sense...Cheers mates! Love it!

Yes! The first part of the roof was sooo difficult! Cold, windy, stormy! Never forgotten that epic clip!

I am so glad that company gifted you the proper tools to do the job. I really didn't want you to do the roof a year ago. Seems there isn't a job too tough for you to tackle. Well done Sir.
  • I helped my late brother in law make & cut bird mouths when he extended into loft of his chalet style bungalow about 25 years ago ! We had to jack up the whole roof as it had sagged since 1960 s! We used a little bottle-jack more suited for lifting a family car! All timbers calculated , measured & cut , we jacked it up, & popped in the timbers ! Reminded me when bird mouths mentioned this evening ! Greatly enjoy your video reports ! Thank you !
  • We are so happy for the roof thingy. Guys well done, keep up with good work
  • I wait to watch you channel every day. I’m 80 yr old young buck 😊. I enjoy watching your build. Give a lot of credit. Keep good work up. Most of all be safe you and your crew

Last time i was looking an episode for a second time actually i was at work during my break. When my colleagues heard the hammering they asked. What are you building ( as they knew i had been renocsting my home for over 5 years ) . So I told them ' a Chateaux at France' 😂😂😂. Greetings from Germany to all the orher addicts 😅

That lift device is brilliant. Hard to believe the months have passed so quickly and you've nearly finished the 2nd part of the roof.
  • @jillychandler
It is interesting how you guys work together with hardly any talking, you just all seem to be in tune with each other. Watching such hard working men, who do the job to the best of their abilities, is so heart warming, and your Chateau young Dan, is going to be such an amazing place! xxx
  • @fineweaver
"I've got better tools now" is the understatement of the year, Dan. I always marvel at each new cool tool you add.

I can't believe how close you are getting to a complete roof. A year ago I would have never have believed it would be possible for you all to have made so much progress so quickly.
