  • The funny thing is the Joker actually was more successful at getting rid of organized crime than Batman.
  • "Money is the reason i'm still alive" said by the man before getting burned on a mountain of money
  • @domb.1522
The fact that joker can convince hired goons to burn a mountain of cash shows how much charisma he has and how intimidating he can be.
  • I love how Heath delivers 3 iconic lines within 5 minutes: “This town deserves a better class of criminal.” “And then we’ll see how loyal a hungry dog really is.” “It’s not about money, it’s about sending a message.”
  • Joker: "I enjoy gasoline, its cheap" Everyone right now: "and I thought my jokes were bad."
  • Joker in the pre-meeting briefing. "Okay guys when I say 'Gasoline' start pouring gasoline on all the money. Its going to be really badass. Thugs: Sure thing boss.
  • It’s kinda sad because the Russian was basically the only guy who was ever nice to the Joker. He was willing to hear him out, never attempts to betray him, and seems genuinely excited to hear what the Joker wants to use his money for. He’s never thought of the Joker as a freak and seems much more upset about being betrayed.

The way he says “this is MY city.” gives me chills. The creepy kind.
  • @amateruss
Plot twist: Joker is actually trying to save Gotham from inflation.
  • "He cant be be bought, bullied or bargained with. Some men just want to watch the world burn" Wise words from Alfred

Everyone is mesmerized by Ledger’s acting and remembering afterwards that Lau was still sitting on top of the money pile he just lit on fire.
  • @etiennedodge
1:50 the look on Meroni's face after he says "you want him" shows the contempt he has on himself for 'ratting', something he was taught his whole life not to do, just because of how bad Joker actually is. Impeccable acting.
  • Joker did what batman can't ever do He killed every single Criminal in Gotham city
  • @wadenotdead
3:55 That shot of the Joker next to the burning money is better than the whole suicide squad movie
  • @BruceWayne_87
Never forger the facts that Nolan printed those millions of papers just for a scene that only last for less than 3 mins. What a legend!
  • @joscar062
"This town deserves a better class of criminal" Little did I knew he was talking about Dent
  • @nayemrahman9987
Earlier in the movie Lau: Money is the reason why I'm still alive. Later in the movie, dies on top of pyramid stack of money

I'll never forget watching this movie for the first time. That scene when he put's his head out the cop car window and is licking his lips after breaking out of prison sent a shiver down my spine. I remember saying to myself "how the F..*k are they going to stop this guy" and actually feeling genuine fear. One of the greatest performances of all time.

Whenever I hear Gordon reluctantly say “Harvey Twoface” I always get chills cuz of the foreshadowing
