  • Joker: “little fight in you. I like that—“ Batman: “THENURGULUHBME”
  • Fun fact, the guy who says “We’re not intimidated by thugs” is US senator from Vermont since 1975 Patrick Leahy. He is actually a huge Batman fan, and he’s played brief roles in several pieces of Batman media, giving the money he earns to the public library where he read comic books as a kid.

1:00 love who he just throws half the drink away and sips pretty much nothing 😂
  • @meganjames4906
I love how his voice trembles when he says “I just want her to know I don’t care about the scars” at 2:57. Even though he’s faking it he still sounds so sincere
  • BANG "Good evening, ladies and gentlemen." "We are tonight's entertainment." That is a cool way to enter the room.
  • Imagine being an extra for this scene. Standing in the back just listening and watching Heath do this performance.
  • @DrYanItor
I love how Bruce uses his Batman voice when he says "they've come for him" at 0:28 as to not give away his identity. It's such a wonderful piece of detail.
  • @SunBunz
“Let her go.” “Very poor choice of words.” That always made me laugh. The Joker’s such a dick. 😂
  • @degov5
I've always loved Jokers expression after Batman says, "let her go." As if he's genuinely thinking, "did he really just say that as I'm holding her out of a window?"

I think the, "Let her go," the quick look of confusion, then followed by, "Very poor choice of words hahahaha" exchange is one of the funniest Joker - Batman interactions in any of the films. It also shows that the Joker is completely willing to change plans at a moment's notice. He was using her as a bargaining chip to get Batman to remove his mask, but abandons that plan entirely because he couldn't resist the punchline of actually letting her go. He'll get Batman another time.

"I'll settle for his loved ones." kills me every time! So dark and sinister said so flippantly. Perfection!
  • @akend4426
Fun fact: The script originally called for Alfred to have an exchange with the Joker after he exits the elevator. However, during filming, Michael Caine was unable to remember his lines because he was so creeped out by Heath Ledger’s performance. Let me repeat that for you: Heath Ledger’s performance as Joker was so damn scary, he made longtime acting legend MICHAEL CAINE forget his lines.

Love how the joker has a different story for every person who asks about his scars
  • @yerrrboy100
Heath ledger's performance is nothing short of perfection
  • Am I the only one who found it hilarious when the Joker starts combing his hair back at 1:56 when he sees Rachel, as if it's supposed to make him look handsome? 😂😂
  • The way Heath looks at the old man at 1:38 as to say “did you really just open your mouth” is great Lml. Just a masterpiece of a performance..the way he tells the story of his wife was delivered so great as well!
  • @imosraz
Batman: “Let her go.” Joker: "Yes Sir."

1:00 killed me 😂 Heath Ledger just made it so nice. He was scary and funny at the same time
