A short animated film produced by the Global Health Media Project globalhealthmedia.org/ in collaboration with Yoni Goodman yonigoodman.com/.

This film makes visible the invisible cholera germs as a young boy shows how to help the sick and guides his village in preventing the spread of cholera.

The film shows how to make the basic homemade oral rehydration solution using sugar, salt , and safe water as these items were felt to be most widely available. However, a solution prepared with a readymade ORS packet is the first choice if supplies are available.

what i love about this is that it isn't overly graphic, it's just telling the truth in a calm and accurate way

For the people that don't know, the cholera was back in 2022 in Syria, tartous and ladkia. We were very sacred at first and many restaurants and grocery shops closed being terrified of it. But we managed to cure everyone and work against it. Thanks for spreading awareness ❤
  • I nearly died because of severe dehydration cause by cholera last year ( 2020) This video reminded me of that time🙃 Very Educational video indeed❤️
  • Media like this should always get first pick of funding and distribution, especially in areas and countries where this is a big problem.
  • The fact how they actually listened to the kid just proves they are very nice people

Who wants these types of animated videos for every disease?
  • @ZeoViolet
Very graphic, but I think that in this case, like the Ebola video, that graphic animation is important. Never underestimate the power of a deadly disease.
