1:45 you can hear the frustration in Buck’s voice after witnessing Reach get over run and glassed by the covenant. he didn’t want it to happen to earth too.

Its a shame thry didnt quite have the atmosphere of it figured out in odst. The glassing in Reach is harrowing and incredibly disturbing. In odst its just kinda goofy.

Glassing in halo is weird. Is it nuclear-based? How does a ship hold enough material to beam an entire planet into “glass”?
