Tip for next time: Add a shock wave affect and a bright orange glow when the beam hits the ground like in Reach.

You must hate your neighbors, Lol. Awesome work, man :D

That camera track was really nice and clean, great work dude.
  • @Turretguy
That looks like it could be in a movie. Very little flaws, awesome work :)
  • A few tips as an average viewer: sounds like it’s ten feet away, it needs to sound ‘loud but way farther away’. The smoke affect also makes it seem way closer than it should be. Perhaps when the initial beam hits, it lenses flares and the camera has to adjust?

That slipspace rupture in orbit would have resulted in what happened during halo 2....

The beam widens too much, in fact I think it’s too wide to begin with. And there’s not enough charge up time to before it fires. This is coming from a huge halo fan, I loved this, but I think it could be better

Is Youtube trying to tell me something, recommending this in 2020?

This looks pretty cool. I think a longer start up on the plasma beam would make the scene more terrifying and true to the original source material. This critique is years too late, but I just saw this in my feed haha.

dude that's totally sick u should make the next Halo movie honestly man that's worthy of a movie awesome work!!!!!!!

looks great for everything except the slip space portal. One slight problem would be that the slip space is in Atmosphere. Unlike in space, the immense pressure the atmosphere has would basically implode on itself when it closes, which makes a huge explosion seen in halo 2. Something like slipspace in space itself has lower pressure meaning there wouldn’t be much to implode on itself. I’m not a scientist but that’s at least how I believe it is.

Sound travels a lot slower than light, there's no delay between what you see and what you hear. If you want to increase believability you need to delay the sound.

It's like this is what you get Timmy for stealing my lunch box >: D
