I love exploring the sea base at EPCOT. I enjoy it with my 4 year old while my older son rides Test Track with my husband. The dolphins and manatee are my favorite. They’re so smart and inquisitive.

Living in South FL for 40 years, I've been through several hurricanes and tornado warnings. Thankfully never had any major damage, only power outages.

That area below Spaceship earth is a wind accelerator. I've seen heavy strollers tossed around like leaves when windy.

A tornado watch just means conditions could bring a tornado. a tornado Warning is what you worry about, it means one has been either spotted or indicated by radar. In middle Georgia we have watches every other day during the Spring, its nothing, some rain wind and thunder... a Warning is when we take cover. Except for the fellas in our family, they go out in the yard and look for it to come.. lol

I too was at EPCOT yesterday, but driving buses from EPCOT to DVC resorts. Buses are like a large wall, we feel the winds.

Right next to plaque you show, is a newer sign where Disney recognizes the people who assisted in planning, research and fact verification for the Living Seas. The first person listed is Robert Ballard. He's the man who found the Titanic!
