I Bought the Ugliest Car in the USA-- AND IT TALKS!!!

Not even close to the ugliest car. Honestly it screams 80's and I love it. So many other cars hold the crown of ugliest.

My mom had one of these . It was only reliable for trips to and from the mechanic . I later was given that car . I wanted to drive it into the river but it broke down on the way .

This thing is actually adorable, and hilarious. It's the fake wood that makes me love it, it just takes it over the top. I'd love one of these for a weekend driver, what a great beach car.

My parents had this car in the 80's. I forgot all about the talking, thanks for the memories! My friends used to love riding in our "talking car". Oh, and those hubcaps got stolen ALL of the time.

My Grandparents had one of these, and they told me the story years later of how they were driving it on a trip during a major storm and were listening to the radio as tornado warning areas were being announced. Right in the middle of the reporter telling where the tornadoes were supposed to be, the car interrupted, "YOUR WINDSHIELD WASHER FLUID IS LOW." And the reporter finished the list during the car's announcement. They said they sold it after making it home, and were grateful to have missed the tornadoes while getting there.

That was hilarious! I remember that car as a kid when it was new - one of my neighbors had the more “upscale” version, the New Yorker with a turbo 2.2L. Had the same talking feature and fine Corinthian Leather. It seemed so hi tech, futuristic, and cool back then. Especially the digital display on the radio, lots of buttons, and of course the car talked! Now it seems like comedy.

back in the early 90's one of my students bought one of those talking k cars. he wired the voice module into his massive stereo system and cranked it...
