What's interesting is, The black Raimi suit doesn't get the usual damage tears that normal suits get. Rather, it gets the same treatment the other symbiote suits get with it being self healing and alive; unable to tear like normal fabric.

The black suit from the comics had white webs. It wasn't until the Ultimate comics when they made the symbiote have black webs, and from there that idea took off. The thing i miss the most is the way Spider-Man would shoot webs overhanded with the black suit. It was the inverse of him normally shooting underhanded with the webshooters.

you can unlock the raimi suit before the story gives peter the symbiote, probably why it's treated like a normal suit

Tobey had Organic webbing himself, he never needed the Symbiote to provide his web so it never did.

Toby's black symbiote suit didn't give him organic webbing... he had it from the moment he got his powers.

The only problem is when you unlock anti-venom, all the venom powers become white and there no way to change to black. Which just looks really weird 😮

black suit in the comics doesn’t usually shoot black webs. that’s why the white parts on his hands are there. he shoots them from the back of his hand

I know tobey didnt have the black webs but i was very disappointed they didnt give the suit black webs for the game. Also would have been so cool if when wearing tobeys red and blue suit, when you activate surge mode he changes into tobeys black suit.

Would have been neat if the Classic Black Suit shot normal webs and had custom hand animations so that he made a fist to shoot the webs out of the top of his hand like in the comics etc.

The one thing that does sadden me a bit is that, once you get the anti-venom suit, even if you ever switch to any of the black suits, the venom abilities stay white. I wish they turned back to black when you switched.

Tobey's spiderman also had organic webs in the movie so it's accurate, but I still think the dash and jump should have been tentacles and not the spider arms while wearing the suit
