    I think that NOT including links to the CAD files for the plastic parts was a good thing. Anybody who actually tries to build this will be disappointed by the results.

    Занятно, но вот пара больших проблем: основание шпинделя, крепеж направляющих, и крепление патрона - НЕЛЬЗЯ делать из пластика на токарных и фрезерных станках в силу ОГРОМНОЙ деформации этих деталей при работе! У тебя на видео, шпиндель и деталь отгибает более чем на 20 градусов от центра оси!

  • The idea and concept are nice, but it is a pity the whole machine is as stiff as chewing gum. Would it not be worth contracting a real miller to make rigit metal parts instead of pnastic, and replacing the motor and the hand control of the tool holder with arduino driven step motors ?
