Christ is the head of the Church. The Catechism describes Jesus’ relationship to his Church as “a personal relationship…expressed by the image of bridegroom and bride.” Fr. Mike points out how important this is by reminding us that, underneath all of the doctrine and the dogma, God is madly in love with you. If we always remember this love, everything else will fall into place. Today's readings are Catechism paragraphs 792-796.

So wonderful. Too often, I am fighting distractions and brain fog and can’t seem to grasp everything, but I’m still receiving such gems. Come, Holy Spirit! Praying for each other “as fellow strugglers and sinners.” Yes, indeed we are - God bless you Fr. Mike - I’m praying this second time around for more people to come back to the Church, to be a humble member of the body of Christ, before the time to work out our salvation here on earth is done. And I include myself in that prayer, as well as all of our family and friends and everyone on this podcast.

Just want to let you know Father Mike still here following you everyday. Thank you so much for all the information and a better understanding of the Catholic faith.
