I met her in 1968, married her in 1972, celebrated 50 years in 2022. Two children and three grandchildren which we enjoy immensely. Thank you Lord for the life you have given us.

I knew when I first saw her in 1983. Finally met her in 1985, dated until 1993, married her in 1994. Still together in 2021.

I was watching David Letterman in 1999 holding my newborn daughter who was about 27 hours old when this song was performed. It was one of those perfect moments and the song is my favorite "sledgehammer." It instantly takes me back to that night.

I was pregnant for my daughter when this song came out, I used to sing it to my pregnant belly, and after she was born I sang it as a lullaby to her while I rocked her to sleep at night. She's 19 years old today, and this song still holds true. I loved her before I met her, she's the baby girl I always dreamed of having, and she became my best friend. This song will always be beautiful and so very special!
