Niqui McCown was a 28-year-old mother, living in Richmond, Indiana, with her 9-year-old daughter, Payton, and her fiance, Bobby Webster. In July of 2001, they were 3 weeks away from their wedding, and Niqui was said to have been very excited. But on the 22nd of that month, she vanished. After going to church that morning, she took some clothes to the laundromat, and rather than wait around for them to be ready, she went to her mother’s house, who lived not far away. When she got there, she explained that she was being harassed by 2 men, and so her mom advised her to get her clothes and come back over. But after Niqui left, she was never seen again. Suspicion fell on her fiance for a while, and it also fell on Payton’s father. But the true main suspect was her coworker, Tommy Swint. During the course of the investigation, it was discovered that Tommy was responsible for the murder of another woman back in 1991, but before any arrests could be made, Tommy took his life. Many believe he also took the answers to what happened to Niqui with him.

Hi Kendall! I am not sure if you ever read your YouTube comments but I am Niqui’s daughter. Thank you so much for covering my mom’s story, after 22 years it’s easy for people to forget about her. My family and I continue to search for answers for my mother and her whereabouts (even if it is just her remains) Thank you everyone for your continued prayers and support I really appreciate it! ♥️

Can you please cover the murder of my little sister Samantha Roberts? She was murdered by a man named Paul Carter in a small town called Nekoosa Wisconsin. Her case didn’t get much attention at all even though she was a disabled , non verbal 20 year old with cerebral palsy
  • @AmonarayIsalay
He was dishonorably discharged from the military. He should never have been in any sort of law enforcement.
  • @appletube_x
22 years and Darlene has not spoken to the family? TWENTY TWO YEARS? Oh she knows.
  • This is my cousin, thank you for covering her story so well, it’s so appreciated. We hold a memorial every year, used to be at the laundry mat in Centerville now we hold it at the park in Richmond bc so many people still continue to show up 🥹 We will keep her memory alive forever 🩷
  • @Clo_Dub
Am I stupid for thinking that if someone is dishonourably discharged, they shouldn’t be allowed to work for the police/ in a prison?
  • @tarsha
The fact that he was able to become a police officer is SCARY 😟
  • @victoriasalexa
to be never found…not even your body….this is so eerie to me. i feel horrible for her!
  • @bamboozled1449
The car being found in Steven’s apartment complex is just too convenient, it just sounds like he was set up especially knowing that area had already been searched.
  • @Sara10393
wow it enraged me to hear he took his own life right before being arrested. what a cowardly POS
  • if my daughter was being harassed at a laundromat, i would have went back with her to ger her laundry. how do u let her go back alone?
  • It's obvious she was murdered by the guy who killed himself especially since he even attempted SA on her.
  • I knew Bobbie. Unfortunately he has passed. He was trying to get the money to try and help find her. This absolutely destroyed him. He loved her so much. The police definitely focused only on him.
  • @AlexisDavis16
Hey Kendall and everyone! As a black woman, Thank you! I feel your love. I know that you care about all humans, as do I. Sadly, I grew up feeling less special in my community.I feel encouraged knowing that they are humans in this world that will genuinely care if a person that looks like me goes missing. It’s a feeling of relief and I’m grateful.

I don't understand how being vain is a 'sign' of her fiancée being guilty of murder. Like, if he was vain before, he's not going to stop being vain now. If I wasn't guilty of murder, I would definitely be worried about how I look, since the public is always judging.
  • @KittyCat260
A guy has a dishonourable discharge, a fucked up view of women, an attempted SA on the missing woman AND a previous murder - and kills himself before he can be brought to justice. He's responsible for the disappearance, no doubt.

Please never brush it off when someone tells you they feel/felt h*rassed by someone. It might happen again, but they might not tell you about it this time oder downplay it as well, because of your reaction. You might not feel the same way, but as soon as someone feels uncomfortable in a situation take it seriously. A professor at my university was kind of fixated on me. I always dreaded his courses, because I felt so uncomfortable around him. He would turn around on stairs when I passed him and so on. I told my family about him...well, they reacted like as if I should feel flattered and asked me, if he's at least good looking. He once became angry and threw his stuff on the table like a child having a tantrum when I decided to not sit next to him. At that time I struggled with dissociation and as soon, as the lesson was over, my mind started to shut down. At home I finally broke down. I was left alone with it, because my family wasn't there for me and my friends didn't know how to help me. So yeah, never brush it off.

I love how I’ve not come across a single negative comment in the sections of Kendall’s videos, ever. A real testament to Kendall and the people who watch her; we show respect and just want to be part of a community that can try to be of some help. Lots of love to you all!

Another reason Bobby might not have wanted to file a missing person’s report as he would have been a prime suspect and perhaps not treated well by the police as they investigated/interviewed him.
  • @katmack4215
I am glad to hear that Bobby stayed close with Payton..🥹
