I volunteer with a lady who is a six year survivor of appendix cancer. I am a 32 year survivor of cervical cancer. Appendix cancer is very rare. I was found to have my cervical cancer at the time of my hysterectomy for endometriosis. You can say that my endometriosis saved me from more aggressive treatments for my cancer. I am truly blessed. 😔😔😔 I am so very sorry. When you were NED, you probably thought it was over. I am so glad they found the cancer in your appendix before it was too late. Why does cancer have to attack awesome people??? I have watched over 30 friends & family die from colon cancer in the past 4 years. 😢😢😢 I finally quit counting in order to keep my sanity.
