  • Still cannot believe this came out in 1971......no fucking way anyone was ready for this then.
  • @Leavetheherd
The sludgiest riff ever, on one of the greatest metal albums ever.
  • @Boogenhagen100
The riff is killer but geezers sludge bass is the shit. Almost like his bass strings are on the floor they’re so low. Absolute magic.

When I heard their debut album back in Feb 13 1970 I was shocked I never heard any type of music such as this. Their first album is a masterpiece and has been the blue print for all heavy music type bands, But none will replicate the mighty Black Sabbath.

  • Ahhh, Into the Void. My unwavering favorite song of all time! It never gets old. I must have played it ten thousand times by now. It is still just as relevant today as ever - maybe even more so! The first time I heard it was like an epiphany - a wonderful, divine gift from beyond. Black Sabbath INVENTED Heavy Metal. They own it. It is theirs. And in my opinion, their Master of Reality album was THE high bar set for every metal album that has come along since. I was there. I lived it. I'm old now, but I will never forget it. I remember it like it was yesterday. This is the truth as I witnessed it, so help me God.
  • The sheer fact that this song and album came out in 1971 truly defines black sabbath as the founders of the heavy metal genre. Like imagine going from listening to say the rolling stones or jimi hendrix and hearing this wall of sound for the first time, must’ve been amazing. I mean tbh i was born in 1999, but i can imagine those early sabbath fans must’ve been the first headbangers the world had ever seen.

BAD FREAKEN' ASS!! Brings me back to the Good 'ol Daze
  • Underrated song and it’s one of the heaviest metal songs ever I love it 🔥🔥🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
  • Sabbath is and will be my favorite also the best to me. Ward is untouchable on drums, Ozzys voice penetrates you and Geezer pumpin dat base with iomi screamin that guitar.
  • The single best reason to buy your nephew a bass guitar and a fender amp.
