  • People are sleeping on Mount... addicted to "the new shiny thing" ... if we get Ugarte or other DM, he can play at his natural possession. Fans are fickle, have forgotten just how good he was at Chelsea. Personally, I'm excited to see him remain fit and show his ability.
  • The thing is he was definitely an upgrade to eriksen. But the problem was no one knew we had a 100m midfielder in our academy 😂 which made people guessing about mount situation
  • With Mount, we can rotate all our midfield. He can replace both Bruno and Mainoo. But if he’s a second third phase player, amd Mainoo is a first and second phase player. Then Mainoo and Mount can play together while ugarte or whoever that is, get some rest.
  • I hope they rotate him with Bruno in game like Europa, Carabo etc
  • I see him as a rotation option with Mainoo with him getting around 25-30 games a season which is more than enough in my opinion. Mount is a continental styled CM. His style is similar to Spanish CMs from the late 2000s to early 2010's like Silva, Xavi, Corzola etc. I feel people aren't sold on him as a CM option because he's not a physical specimen but technically he's definitely up there.
  • A great analysis on Mason Mount, I have always believed in his ability right from his Chelsea days
  • Lot's of Mount haters in the comments. He will prove you wrong this season coming. He was a really smooth player at Chelsea.
  • @tris421
a good signing for 60 million when he had 1 year left on the contract and gave him the #7 shirt - for a utility player. Fucking Murtough legacy.
  • A lot of people who dont know how to analyse hating on this video. Id rather listen to this bloke than yall
  • I really just don’t think he can work with Bruno. I think it has to be one or the other. Every time I’ve watched them play together, it’s looked like Bruno has been getting in Mount’s way and not allowing him to play his game. Mount’s best games have also been without Bruno on the pitch from memory. Similar to Foden and Bellingham just now for England. Although Bruno is a much better player than Mount, I controversially think that Mount fits Ten Hag’s ideal style of play much better. He is a much more understated, disciplined player. If you think back to Ten Hag’s Ajax days, he played Donny, Klaassen, Tadic, and Berghuis mostly in his creative roles. I think the fact that his most successful seasons came with Donny and Klaassen often playing CAM says enough. Players who won’t mind going unnoticed if it’s best for the team, and the complete opposite profiles to Bruno. I’d argue very similar to Mount, but he is far more technically gifted, while keeping the ability off the ball that these players had. Bruno is never gonna be dropped, but I think it’d be interesting to see how it’d work with Mount being the focal point tbh.
  • Another great video AJ. Counting the days till you hit a mil. I can feel it coming, keep up the hard work.
  • If this season he’s injured or play badly it will definitely go in the list alongside with Antony and Shaw or Malacia type
  • Really looking forward to seeing Mount play this season A successful squad needs about 16 players who can all genuinely expect to be in the starting XI. Mount is one of these. Finally looks like United will have proper squad depth this season
  • Mount will rotate with Mainoo. Simple. If the Ugarte deal goes through, he'll be the stalwart alongside Bruno in the middle.
  • Can you do a kadioglu video, great fit at left back to cover the injury prone left backs we have and also will cover rb if/when awb leaves
  • @LeKNG
Mount was supposed to be the number 8, but that injury created a hole, but Mainoo took the chance that was given. and now we have a great selection of 2 decent number 8's to rotate between and choose. Then with Ugarte, we can have 2 decent DM's. and same in the striker position. Love to see it
  • Kobbie's ball striking is actually very top. His technique is excellent
  • In my opinion, mount is better off playing as an 8 since he's got better ball retention and ball carrying ability compared to bruno, who's more attacking minded and creative than him. So, a midfield trio of mount, bruno and ugarte could work. Mainoo can still swap with mount if anyone else disagrees but mount is far more experienced than mainoo, who's still growing and improving, so really we can't ignore mount. I'd have a backup trio of mainoo, gore/flethcher and collyer.
