What beautiful performance. I and this in there University of Washington choir in the late 1960s - but the acoustics are brilliant, Thank you for sharing.

An exhilirating performance of another Handel masterpiece but not performed that often. This performance captures all the vitality of baroque at its brilliant best, conducted with incredible panache. The small orchestra produces an extraordinarily rich sound but true to HIP at its best; the chorus is amazing and all the soloists are superb, especially Cornelia Horak. A treasure!

What an absolute privilege it is to listen to this performance. What an age we live in, with all its travails, to have this beauty, too.
