Absolutely horrible. We have so many homeless Washingtonians and here we are housing people who aren’t even born here or have been here for minimum of a year.

As a tax paying citizen I’d like a few weeks paid at a hotel for a vacation please.
  • There is no information here. Who brought these people into this country? How do they have visas or passports? Someone paid for them. Who? Why did they come here with no plan, sponsors, language skills, or money. Why were they not turned back at customs? This whole story has been undisclosed from the get-go. What aircraft brought them here to the PNW? This is a sob story-a pitiful attempt for what-raising money? This county/city has numerous men, women, children (seniors, veterans, ill folks) who need human services themselves. There is no true coverage of this group with any truth to it. What kind of "news station" is this? Cowards?

They don’t know how hard to earn a living and all they are so demanding. Just for fairness why can’t they go back & wait in their country while waiting for their paperwork’s. Go to immigration and follow the procedure. They’re getting all the help & attention but our own unhoused population who probably paid their taxes cannot even get help. So sad…
  • if they can brave the trek here, they can live outside. they need to realise things arent free in america. they see houses all around that people worked hard for, not given. dont get that twisted.

A lot of these people came here with the expectation that they would be housed, fed, employed and taken care of in general. There is a real attitude of entitlement. They act like they crossed six, seven other countries to get here, and now they want to be rewarded for it. And they ALL have story of oppression, danger, threats to their lives, etc. They know just what to say.

I'm sorry for these people really but there are soo many homeless people here already. Their government needs to do something for them. Washington needs to get a backbone
  • @USArmyKorea
We should only admit people with skills. No skills, no entry.
  • @mjones1665
They do not belong here. There are homeless veterans that need to be taken care of first.
  • @Summitt238
I live in Seattle we cant even take care of the veterans and the people who are homeless here. Take care of American citizens first.

Always amazed at seeing all these children in such a bad situation. The situation was just as bad before they were born back in their old country but how did there parents figure to deal with their lousy terrible situation..... Have kids ....hey misery loves company. GO HOME. We can't take care of our own AMERICAN CITIZENS..why should you get a free ride GO HOME

It's a bit colder this far above the equator. If they don't have a house to move into, I recommend they keep their butt down in South America until they do.
  • @LilannB
They do not speak English yet are holding signs in English.
