  • Love the video! I hope I'm as capable a captain as you the first time I have to drive on the other side of the road!
  • how close am i too him? This is me every time I drive in America, it so strange been sat on the left hand side and trying to work out your spacial awareness on the right! This really made me smile :) Glad you had an amazing time!

It can always be stressful driving in a new place! My first (and only time) driving in Europe was going from Rome to Pompeii. I was so nervous at first! But it turned out fine! I think one of the biggest changes was the difference between some of the road signs between Europe and North America! (especially for parking!)
  • You're so brave! Honestly California city driving (especially San Fran) is CRAZY. I'm from America and I would be too scared to drive there haha. When I visited it was my friend driving luckily for me. Glad you made it through ok and had fun!
  • I'm renting a car in SF in a few days, staying there then road tripping up the west coast to Seattle. Bit nervous!

Very nice video. You did better than most of our new drivers lol. I'd say the best tip is be confident but not overly confident. If that makes sense. Also if you see a roundabout, be extra careful. We Americans dont know how to use them, we have a few here and there. Most people do not know how they work so be careful

OH MY GOODNESS I have to get a rental from San Fran airport and drive to Monterey and back in a few months. I'm Australian. I'm so so so nervous!!! I'm expecting Final Destination 2-type carnage all because of my driving!
  • I’ve never driven an automatic or driven in America, are there any tips you can give for a first timer? Also, what was the check in like for the car rental? Did they add any hidden fee’s etc?

Why’d you go on the Golden Gate Bridge if your going to Yosemite?

In America the front passanger would be called the wingman. Unless he's in the back seat. Then he would be called the back seat driver.lol
