Today I showcase my mechanical calculator in plane crazy! This took over a month of trial and error, so I hope you enjoy my video!
This version is way better than my old calculator. It can add, subtract, and multiply numbers with values from 0-999. It can be used multiple times in one go, but for this video’s purpose, I chose to only do equations consisting of two values.

Imagine forgetting your calculator for class and instead of borrowing someones, you load up your plane crazy calculator

Pretty soon this man is going to make a working 64 bit computer

Ah pinwheel calculator. yes rotating it clockwise will result in addition, and rotating them backwards would result subtraction. similiar to a gear ratio, but in this calculator, you need to increase or decrease the gears. no lock is needed when increasing or decreasing the gears since powered motors lock itself when the player is not pressing clockwise or counterclockwise keys. What amazed me here is how the way you slip those blocks inside the suspension to set the numbers and then adding it to the gears. what also interesting here is how you add 1 more numbers to the front, like for example 5 + 6. the calculator result would be 001 but with this, it could be 011. My opinion about the calculator is to maybe make things much more clear for the user to use the calculator with like for example more indicators and more colours. You also need to be more carefull because in plane crazy, blocks could go through each other blocks accidentally so even if its extremely accurate, there could also still be an error no matter what. also I recommend making the gears thicker so there would be less chance to slip each other (thicker in the outer possition so it wont disturb the lockings) instead of using only trails. Also once again this thing amazes me from your motorlock skill and ideas. 🗿👍

This is awesome, CoolBean! Good job!

Awesome content Coolbean!! That calculator is super epic btw :) awesome vids

The fact that this took a month and normally would prob take me 2 years to make (I have no knowledge of advanced motor locking or mechanisms) is impressive. Can’t wait to see what else you can build!

Epic! I remember when you started building this!

wow thats good
-
this is pretty clever

Nice calculator! personally, i would build a binary calculator, but this is even more impressive!
