Welcome to Louisville where we have some of to poorest excuses for policing in the country and its been that way all 30 years of my life. ive seen them drinking in marked cars tossing out beer cans right before speeding off to a call. devil works here.

The fact that he was booked and released in record time. Shows the cops and DA know they screwed up bad. Most people would be lucky to post bail after days in jail after an assaulting an officer charge
  • @makaainana
Condolences to the family who lost their loved one. Scotty will be fine. World no. 1 player will do his thing regardless
  • @willc3630
"Attached" himself to the vehicle? You mean the crazy cop jumped on his car.
  • The point you’re missing is that it’s Alleged charges at the cops discretion. The cop deciding to jump on the car in this scenario doesn’t sound like assault to me.
  • @haroof
This is all going to turn into a huge misunderstanding with all charges dropped. I’m betting by the end of the day.

Very good reporting. You nailed it. He makes birdie on the first hole and the crowd is going nuts.

Kentucky is not adept to handle such sporting events, including the Derby.
  • @rustygreen6771
This is how easy it is to get a felony charge. With idiot robot cops it will never change. 😮
  • Ridiculous how cops just pile on charges at will, whenever they decide they want to punish someone excessively. Maybe he should have stopped and at most would be a misdemeanor.

Kentucky’s finest! Sure everywhere else on earth he would have been allowed to go in and do his job. Way to go Kentucky. Other words the security is smarter and more informed than Kentucky’s finest. You must be proud.

Retired police. Police officers are NEVER trained to attach themselves to a car. Ahhhh - that is a rather ignorant move on the part of the officer. What an oddity situation. Scotty Scheffler is not a criminal. Scheffler did not assault a police officer. The officer assaulted a moving car.

It doesn't matter who he is....follow the rules, stop and follow the instructions. Everybody making excuses for this guy.

The most danger you can be in is when interacting with police. period. Forget this at your own risk. Good luck Scottie !
