  • Sweet Katie, I know I mentioned in your live how my son DID NOT like being an infant...🥰 It was a tiring time! But MAJOR blessings are on the way. He took his first step at 9 months, and the first taste of independence changed everything for him. SUPER intelligent and he morphed into an AMAZING toddler. 😂 He never crawled, didn't start out walking , just straight took off running. ❤️ All of this being said in hopes of giving you some peace in knowing that , your angel is just being who he is, and it is going to be wild and blessed ride. ❤💪🙏

Katie and Corie, please keep my mom’s twin sister in prayer. She is 95, the only one left of the 8 kids in mom’s family. Her body is shutting down and hospice care is taking care of her.

The plants are Cattails. I love seeing Granny with you girls and the babies, such precious memories. I also love that Ira is a little wild.😊❤🙏

Katie - I’m just at the beginning of the video, but I had to jump in the comments to tell you how adorable you are with those little freckles sprinkling across your nose - so pretty! Now, back to the video ❤

You are adorable Katie! It can be a challenge when you have a fussy baby, but they do grow out of it, so hang in there. Remember, as he grows older and starts walking, you have to keep those handles on pots and pans turned inward, never hanging over the stove. The baby could grab it. I have twins, and my Dad taught me that, and I’ve never forgotten it. 😊

Love the green, flower arrangement and seeing the babies esp. with Granny, so precious.
  • The tall grass looks like cattails or typha latifolia. The fuzzy part can be used to bind bleeding wounds. The roots can be made into poultice for burns and sores.
  • @shoji...
Katie, you had me laughing, talking about going toe to toe with yourself in baby form 😅 and then the "goat boy" stuff! 😂 Enjoyed it all as always! ✝️🌷

Corie, I so agree with you about bouquets from the garden being prettier than some boughten ones! I also love to decorate birthday cakes with flowers from the garden. It’s so simple, but very impressive! 🌺🌸🪻

Katie definitely is a quirky soul! I hope she realises how good she has it, still living at home with a baby and having her parents to help. It was hard to believe that Paul hadn’t even met Corie’s baby at all and Granny only once! You practically live in each other’s pockets! 😆

Thanks for sharing your day! I’m amazed at the bandana questions. I totally get it. I’m 73, used to have hair very much like yours (not quite as long) and I wore bandanas all the time! In the 60’s and 70’s, I had a lot of kerchiefs that matched my outfits. Hated having my hair in my face😃. Still wear one when I’m gardening. Have a great day!
  • I took my children fishing when they were young, they still enjoy it today. The boys will most likely enjoy hiking as well. Loved the video. God bless you both
