SO MUCH SEA GLASS from Maine!

Published 2022-06-08
Now that the weather is warming up in Maine(I know... I film beach hikes even in the winter!), it's much easier to access more remote locations where you can spend the entire day beachcombing!

I join one of my friends, who also happens to be a pretty serious sea-glasser, to beachcomb along the rocky coast in Casco Bay, Maine. Come along, enjoy the quiet, pristine beaches and see what types of shells and sea glass we can find!

Maine is pretty beautiful. The beaches are very rocky, different than the norm. Love those yellow periwinkles and the bigger whelks.
  • Great video Solace! We just missed each other again! Haha - I swear we are going to run into each other one day! Looking forward to it! I LOVED Maine and plan to head back soon! Shell well my friend! AMAZING finds!

We have a summer home on the coast of Maine and it's the only place that I know of where you can find authentic sea glass. I'm probably biased... Maybe Jamaica. (I've been to every state and all around the world) In my opinion, true purple is the rarest. I like red, also rare, and definitely cobalt blue the best. Beautiful sea glass finds today you guys, beautiful shells and scenery! Thank you so much! ❤ *Pay attention because you can also find China. I like the white with red on it the best, but the white with blue on it is super neat too, it's very cool to see! 🥰
  • Beautiful, I love the yellow periwinkles , we get them by the bucket load here in the southern U.K. I used them to make mosaics along with the sea glass. I like your very therapeutic videos and look forward to the next.
  • Beautiful video as always Thank you for sharing. The grey could be a very old TV screen..

The big chunky piece of gray glass had to of come from either a water battery or an old television.
