The meeting in Downing Street on Thursday afternoon comes after scenes of violent unrest in London, Hartlepool and Manchester overnight while a demonstration in Aldershot saw a tense stand-off with riot police.
Talk’s Julia Hartley-Brewer is joined by former Met police detective Peter Bleksley to discuss the issue further.
Peter: “It doesn’t get solved through such thuggery I would never condone… but people are harbouring concerns about the increasing Islamification of Britain.”

Thankyou Peter for saying it as it is. We should be able to say our streets were once only white faces speaking English and now they are not without being called racist. The police behaviour in London was appauling. I'm a brit watching from NZ I couldn't believe what I was seeing. They were doing it on purpose as if trying to insite violence themselves. One lady was 73 and just standing there doing nothing. I just don't get the agenda of the police or the Govt. Do those at the top want Britain to become an Islamic country? They deffinitely want division. Divide and conquor maybe? There will be civil war at this rate.

Good man Mr Bleksley for saying it like it is. I think we've reached a turning point where we don't care any more about the unfounded insults they throw at us, it's gone beyond that now.
