As a Northern Irish man who went to a mixed school and grew up with Catholic and Protestant friends, it is extremely refreshing to hear one of my sporting heroes reflect what the majority of people in Northern Ireland believe. Most of us celebrate diversity and welcome people from any background. Unfortunately it is the minority from both extremes that shout the loudest and amplify the negatives that lie within out society. Andrews a brilliant ambassador for all things that should be celebrated in Northern Ireland and I’m genuinely thankful for that! Good man Trimbey!

What a lovely guy. An absolute warrior when he played.

Always liked Trimble. A great player at his peak and always a gentleman with a great sense of humour.

Great interview, Andrew Trimble is such a witty, genuine guy who'll go far in media as long as he's not chewing gum.....lol Also I too was lucky enough to grow up in N.Ireland neither prod or Catholic but it can be a double edged sword sometimes, even in Perth WA where I now live.

Great interview. Andrew seems like a nice guy. The type of guy you could have a pint with and have a good chat.

Unfortunately I missed out on some of the interview as a result of poor quality sound and low volume even when I connected to a quality speaker. I admire Andrew Trimble immensely.

I remember George Hook calling him The big Christian once after a game

More focus on sound than shitty lights would be great.
  • How many test victories away from home did Trimble get against New Zealand and South Africa?

Should have talked about the mental Jesus beliefs. Would have been more interesting and revealing
