When I hit +45, I can’t go without a facial oil layered on top of my moisturizer. I also find it’s helpful under makeup as a primer—stops my makeup going chalky. I think that age, where you live and skin condition play a factor, so for me it is a must but when I was younger I would not have even considered using an oil. 😊

No . 5 is great advice. So many products out there we get sucked in thinking we need them all. Great to have you to bring us back down to earth with sensible advice. ❤

Yeah.. An oil is technically redundant, but I only use a very inexpensive oil to keep my moisturizer from drying up/evaporating any faster, simply because I don’t like heavy creams on my face. It’s seems like I always break out every time I use a heavy cream. And my skin just prefers a lightweight gel like cream topped with a lightweight oil. Idk if it’s pseudo science or not lol but it feels like it’s forces all of my moisturizer to go down into the skin, rather than dry up.. so I still get optimal hydration/moisture without the breaking out part. Really great video! Can wait for my time line to flood with these 😍 lol I kinda got tired of the same old skincare junkies or “gurus “ that push just anything trending or not exactly backed by science (or supposedly backed by science, but still what everyone else is using). You actually read into it and make it comprehensible ! Love that about you :)

I would like to see a video on the five that mature skin needs in our routine. I'm thinking of 'regifting' several of my slightly used serums, essences, etc, to my 22 year old as I most likely need more powerhouse products. And, of course, your skin looking fabulous as always!❤
