That color is what FDE should be! It's dark. FDE is just Flat Bright Earth because there's nothing dark about it. Sweet rifle. Probably going to pick up the Slim rail for my BCM!

My grey V11 that came with a foregrip is great, especially with the Eotech 518 I put on it.

I think Daniel Defense has the best direct impingement AR out there. Recently picked up my DDM4V11 and put on Sig iron backup sights and Aimpoint CompM4S/Larue (absolute) QD mount on top. That rifle is real awesome stuff!

good Vid! love the rifle with one exception--> the end of the rail is so close to the end of the barrel I cannot put my Gemtech G5-T on the QD flash hider!

Have you noticed some slight play between the upper and lower? My v5lw has a minute amount of play between the upper and lower.

My V7 pro just came in Tuesday. I'm running an EOtech EXPS3 with the G33 magnifier. I hate that damn box. Not enough space for the rifle and the mounted optic.

For California, is that the pmag they send you with the rivet, or is it one you guys had available? I just ordered one but customer service didn't go into magazine size except that it was a 10 round limit

I just purchased the DDM4 V1 and I must say that I love it... The only problem I have is, for the life of me why can't they just add standard iron sights to the damn thing for the price we're already paying? Or are they assuming because we're already dropping $1,400 that we can afford an optic? smfh Daniel Defense team
