Yes just bought the IEP binder I look forward to using it this year hopefully it makes it easier going into my first year :)
  • Love the IEP series - thank you! Thinking about a career change and my sights are on teaching/SPED, and when you google SPED...you find IEPs, and how stressful they can be. This is confidence inspiring!
  • I’m studying special education in college and I start my job as a special education aide later this August. Your videos are so encouraging and make me so excited! Thank you so much
  • This is so helpful! I got into an accelerated program and will graduate a year early. I’ll be teaching by next year. Love your videos!
  • I am taking the praxis here in less than a week to hopefully start the fall as a special education teacher. Your videos are so helpful!!! I fully plan on getting this packet as well as the teacher planner to make this big step a bit easier!

I’m going into 10th grade this year and I’ve know I want to be a sped teacher for a year now. I really love your channel because the whole subject talking about special education interests me. Thanks for making these videos :)

Im so glad i found this. I can totally relate to reading and IEP and thinking "What am i getting myself into" but finding out it's nothing like i thought! I really want to create a snapshot to help me understand his accomodations, goals and objectives are. I have about 100 pages of his IEP and I thought there has to be a way to simplify this!!

I am a first year special education teacher this year, but I am also currently taking classes to get my sped certificate so I'm not currently licensed to teach it (sort of like alternate route, but only for the sped part, I have my teaching certificate). My school (I'm looking for a new school for next year) has provided absolutely no training on how to write IEPs or keep track of them. We have a Child Study Team who schedules IEP meetings but I feel like the school does everything special education related wrong, and like I'm going to go to another school with no idea what I'm doing. Any more videos coming on IEPs, or any books or resources you would recommend on writing IEPs and keeping track of them? I bought the binder but I can use all the help I can get. Loved this video!

Hello. I'm a SPED teacher here in the Philippines. I'd like to know how you do with the learner's evaluation? Do you use scoring rubrics or nonscoring rubrics? How do you keep their outputs (like portfolio)? I teach children with multiple disabilities and intellectual disabilities.

Thanks for this video. Im going to have to buy that from TPT! Do you know if all resource teachers pull out students in middle school or are there different types?

I didn't get the date of IEP, I mean how long it should be?
