To all of the haters who say that she shouldn’t be having a camera with her in a hospital due to HIPAA or PIPEDA, if you watch closely you can see that she re-uses B-Roll in many of her videos so that she is never actually filming a patient scenario. This B-Roll is not that hard to film and was probably done in an hour when she had some time before heading up to the on-call room or when she was done her shift and just before she was ready to head home. And frankly, I am happy that there are doctors who want to provide educational resources to not only future healthcare providers, but also potential future patients. To everyone to is saying that she should be studying instead of editing videos...you do know she’s not a machine right. Doctors are not chained to their job and often need other outlets to keep them balanced in such an unbalanced job. Thank you for doing this ViolinMD you are a ray of sunshine and I am proud that we have health care professionals like you in Canada.

it's so cute when she says "I'm a third-year resident" bc she sounds so proud and excited to say that
  • @ainsley877
How do you just laugh things off? I would be crying if I was that hungry at work omg
  • @bronson5729
Accidentally brings the pager home and it goes off 😂

I’m so shocked your in 3rd year already! I’m so used to you say 2nd year.
  • @zadiem.9249
I've went from 1st year to 2nd year and now you're a 3rd year... Holy crap! I'm never ready to hear that. So glad for you!
  • "My kidneys will thank me".... only something a doctor would say
  • The transition from “urine output” to “filling a water cup” had me in tears 😂😂😂
  • @kkath
Time flies so fast. I started watching when you were still a ‘first year medical resident’. Im so happy im a part of this journey ☺️
  • It's going to take me alot of strength to watch this because my dad was in intensive care before he died but I love your videos you do a brilliant job at giving an insight into the medical world that we dont get to see thank you
  • @Ofcourserose
She is so patient and so collected. I wish to be that way.

7 months ago I almost died from a chainsaw to the neck and face. Spent 5 days in icu. I wasn’t expected to live at all. Thanks to God and people like you and your amazing medical staff I’m still here to talk about it! Thank you!!
  • As someone born with Spina-Bifida and Hydrocephalus I have spent a lot of time in and out of hospitals, including ICU's so it is extremely interesting see these situations from a doctor's perspective.
  • Sis is living my dream. I’m gonna be a nurse, not a doctor but I would love to be a doctor. I’m just 100% sure I couldn’t have the dedication to do it
  • @8Aboudi8
One day I’ll say “Hi I’m Abdul, a third-year resident” in a cute way like you lol
  • We spent 4 months with my Mother in Law in the ICU and I remember the doctors doing rounds. So thorough and unbelievably organized in making plans for the day. We went back months later when she was better and thanked the doctors for saving her life. What you do means so much to families. ♥️
  • I cannot express how interesting her videos are, as well as informative, I wanna go to medical school and become an anesthesiologist and her videos make me realize the type of doctor I want to be
  • @RandyMullis1
It sounds nice to hear you say, "...a third-year medical resident", Siobhan. I've been with you since the beginning!
  • @natasharose3176
I love how positive you are! You’re an emergency room doctor, while filming and probably tired and hungry. You’re always smiling and positive and it’s very inspiring! Well done you! ☺️👍🏻
  • My father was in the ICU for less than a day before he passed there, it’s been very hard. I’ve always appreciated doctors/nurses but now I do even more because I know they did everything they could. I appreciate you and all the hard work you do❤️ May god bless my dad’s soul, he is so missed.
