Hi I have been playing for month and half now, and enjoy your channel alot and slowly improving Thanks!! I changed my tip for a soft one the other day, i put on an elk pro soft and it is much better than my old one which seemed medium i did not know the make it came on the cue. With the new one i left alot of it showing like you say, the only neg is it seems not all that good close to the cush even with the cue jacked slightly like you show, i cant get the sharp contact like with the medium one which i sanded it down to half the depth of this one for some reason, but rounded the edges on it like you showed. Thanks for any info you seem a very good player btw.

My Kamui black tips were only lasting a month with me playing everyday. Elk masters require me to change my tip too often however I like how they feel but they definitely don't have the grip and everything of the Moori tips I've been using. I get my cue maker to put on a 14mm Moori tip and he brings it down to 9.8mm which is the size of my ferrule. Put it in a tip press for 2 days before I get it put on and there's no mushrooming. Great video.

I have now played around 6 hours with cuesoul ss. And i have to say that must be hardest supersoft ever. Literally took P60 sandpaper to get a shape :D Feeling of a tip pretty good. Gets ok grip and solid touch. Absolutely great value! Feels propably more like medium tip. I dont if they made manufacturing failure but i dont mind, this works!
  • I have used the same type of tip by Cuesoul for six months while playing pool. It’s a great tip. It holds its shape well too.

Hi. I’ve tried very tip on the market. Elks. Elk pro. Blue velvet. You name it I’ve tried it. But I have to say, buying the cue soul super soft was a bit of a gamble. And what a gamble.. they are by far the best tip I’ve had in along time. With the help of game for life, & the cuesoul tips my game has gone to a whole new level..

I bought a ¾ cuesoul snooker cue for around £60. Seems really decent considering the price and what you get (case, mini butt, screw in extension, cue butt, cue shaft)
  • Great video, a pal of mine gave 15 for nothing so I cut my blue diamond off and it's yesterday's news. The shaping took a little longer but for the extra benefit which I am now experiencing I wish I'd have done it earlier because my control of the white is improving for less effort.
  • If use SS tip will less bounce impact after collusion with ball when stroke. It's simmilar like play bowling, if you throw with having bounce it's will run from paths. Other things, soft tips it's easy to control when you are in black or pink zone.

when you installed the tip did you cut any off the top ? , i understand you have to dome the tip and will lose a little , as the tip seems a lot thicker than a elk master tip

Thanks for your informative videos. Quick question: why would one prefer a SS (super soft) tip over the H (hard) kind I currently use?
  • @Eurobunneh
Good video but your videos have really improved from this 😁

I am using Cue Creator tips at the moment. Really playing well. You should give it a try mate.

My last cue has the original tip 10 years! 2 hours a year practice and I can still knock in a 60 break. Now I have 2 John Parris cues I might play 4 hrs a year we'll see......... Lighting costs pennies at home but ££££ at the snooker club apparently
  • You need to try different tips yourself to get a tip that suits you and your playing style. If you are looking for quality I would try American pool tips and cut down to suit. Possibly Japanese made one's . Elks are still a good tip but so.stones you get a Duff one.

Is there a link that sells 10mm snooker tips? Or you reckon 14 mm tip can be trimmed down to fit 10 mm snooker cue tip? I have never done 14 mm tip on my snooker cue before, so double checking before ordering. Other question is, I have always played Elkmaster Medium. Would you recommend Cuesoul Soft or SuperSoft for me?

Try (Zen) premium hard grip you can play all kind of shots possible with SS And H combine [hard grip=HG] for example long jumps for pool massé for both snooker and pool and left and right spins and draw and follow through. With enough power I can draw as the same as in the video game of snooker. It last me around a year 10 and half months to be exact.
