Electric Cars have maximum torque at 0 MPH where internal combustion engines don't. That's just the physics of an electric motor.

These electric cars are super quick from 0, 🀯. But I totally love the sound from those V8's, they sound just beautiful ❀
  • Most evs are all wheel drive and the hp n torque is out the wahzoo..hard to beat with traditional 2 wheel drive hp n torque

Listen to all that energy being used by the muscle cars and then being beaten by silent efficiency.

it's no longer gas vs diesel it's gas and diesel vs electric

What's really funny (and 8 know there will be lots of guys crying and finding any excuse they can to deny it) but technically a Tesla IS and American muscle car. Being gas powered is not actually a requirement for being a muscle car, it just needs to have lots of power and that's exactly what a Tesla has.

These electric vehicles are impressive, with most of them running 10sec-13sec out the box

I want at least one race with both electric vehicles. Just to hear what it sounds (or doesn't sound) like.
  • Shouldn't be on the same track honestly. It's like comparing an airliner to a jet. Each is built with different purposes.

I fucking love IC engine cars but yall gotta stop hating on electrics just because they make no noise, I love noise too but you cant deny thay electric cars are quick asf

I would say that ev's have a lot more acceleration from 0-30/40 mph, but from 30/40 to 60mph, muscle cars pull ahead. if the track was longer, muscle cars would win almost every time. but when ev's have a speed advantage at the start, it's hard to accelerate past something that's accelerating and already ahead of you.

The gals in those Teslas are giving these fellas in their petrol cars a lot of headaches.
