Frugivore Diet: Here’s Your Daily Meal Plan Outline

Published 2021-08-11
A frugivore diet for a healthy gut, hormones, and a healthy natural weight, plus great energy levels.

Who wouldn’t want these kinds of great health outcomes for themselves, right?

The fact is though as many people get older they start to struggle with these areas of their health, in truth it really doesn’t have to be this way.

Now you may be wondering what exactly is a frugivore diet?

Well, it’s simply a diet where you eat lots of fruit in your meal plan.

Having eaten a high fruit diet for the past 12 years and have shown many others how to do it properly, it is important to distinguish it from fruitarianism or a fruitarian diet, where people eat only fruit and which we don’t recommend.

In our opinion eating a variety of whole plant foods that includes fruits, vegetables, leafy green vegetables, nuts, and seeds is very important so you get the nutrients that your body needs.

So if you looking for a fruit and vegetable diet or a fruit diet plan for weight loss and other health benefits like balanced hormones and optimal energy levels and gut health, then make sure to watch our video today where we outline a sample frugivore diet – day meal plan for you.

Chia is pretty filled with lectins. I have reaction after eating chia. It's better to replace them with flax seeds

I've been a 100% frugivore for 9 months straight since February when there were some sweet fruits around here in California. It's been wonderful. But now it's November, and fall is in full swing, so there are no more delicious sweet fruits like peaches or pluots or nectarines 😞 How am I supposed to be a 100% frugivore in California between now and the end of Winter? Am I supposed to get by on guava, apples, tangerines, watermelon and berries? I don't care much for oranges, bananas or grapefruit. And pomegranate is so bitter, it doesn't feel right to eat it during the cold season.
  • What are your thoughts on dates? I'm allergic to bananas and struggle to find ripe sweet fruit with enough calories. Can I substitute bananas for the equal amounts of calories?
