Jesus was successful on earth because He was close to God. That is the secret to intimacy with God. There are no formulas, except one: closeness with God. This involves: (1) Spending quality time with God in prayer, worship, and His Word. (2) Soaking in God's Word and staying rooted in God's Word. (3) Learning to hear and know God’s voice. (4) Being trained in obedience to God's Word and voice. And (5) Learning to operate in the anointing of the Holy Spirit, the same anointing that was upon the Lord Jesus Christ in his ministry.

Dr. Stanley always gave us (and he still gives us) in his sermons we are still blessed to hear, the HIGHER love of God! ❤ This love is based on intimacy with God. Charles had it and has it now! 🎉❤ And he blesses us with being HONEST about this incredible intimacy that he shared with God. Can I share this intimacy with JESUS? Oh, I hope so, but TIME with Him and LISTENING to Him are where I need to improve. May YOU help me, please, God. 🙏🏼 I love Charles Stanley…he is a stream of gentle water, constantly drawing us to the Father. Wait, that sounds like JESUS. ❤

Awesome, thank you for putting this message up today. Many times when I can’t sleep or I get up early, I ask the Lord what I can listen to that will speak to my heart. Many times Charles Stanley will come right up first. (Probably because through the years I’ve listen to his teaching. ☺️) But it is always what I needed to hear. I have let projects and many other things take up my time. So this is what I needed today. I am very grateful for the ministry. Thank you for continuing to put these up. I think of Charles Stanley like a godly grandfather I never had.

So many miss this part because they wasn't taught in the building of worship. Thank God for our Beloved belated Dr. Stanley for being a true vessel who delivered God's words plain and simple. No relationship is more important than the one with our First Love, GOD. GOD is LOVE so without HIM we only feel likes with conditions. 🙏🏾❤
