For all the idiots in the peanut gallery, this is a risk-free endeavor. 3 million that will be closer to a 1 million cap hit after signing and roster bonuses. He doesn't make real money unless he performs. So he's motivated, and if he's injured, he has no injury insurance. He's basically getting the paycheck of a third round draft pick.

Nobody thinks Beckham is the same player. The threat is being WR3 playing with Waddle, Hill, Jonnu Smith, Achane, and Mostert. Beckham is easily one of the best WR3 in the league. That's a tough offense to stop before OBJ. With him, the Dolphins offense should be the #1 in the league. Beckham had 27 first downs out of 35 catches on a run first offense. It's impossible not to like/love this move.

Tua doesn’t run like Lamar, Lamar rather play RB instead of QB, that’s the reason he wasn’t productive in Baltimore. Glad he’s in Miami as a WR3

I like the move. He should be able to eat from the slot

The aging player can no longer carry WR1 duties and break many explosive e plays. However, in the McDaniel system where Tua throws to a point on the field before the WR even breaks, the Dolphins covet OBJ's route running and hands. After Cheetah and Waddle dropped multiple passes in key situations last season and third and fourth down conversions was this offense's only questionable stat, I suspect McDaniel plans to use OBJ as a possession WR to move the chains and score TDs on fades.
