If you speed, you could do damage that’s beyond repair. Driving above the speed limit, even by a little bit, could result in a crash — you could injure or kill yourself, or worse, someone else. When you speed, you put everyone on the road in danger. One way or another, speeding catches up with you. Always observe the speed limit.

So, what I get from this is that if I'm going the speed limit and hit something, there will be no damage.
  • What's funny about the last guy was that he seemed alert and not distracted... and he STILL hit her!! She must have dived in front of him that last second. Lol.
  • @Vash141
    Now that’s a lotta damage!
  • @Brey
I bet you the producers of this ad go 5 miles above the speed limit.
  • Thanks for making my mentality better by this. I don’t want to drive ever again in my life. Having anxiety and watching this isn’t fun, especially when I can’t skip it.
  • @Fequla
Even if you go the speed limit u can still get in a car crash

Why'd the commercial stop here? Keep going! "This guy was driving exactly the speed limit. Look at the damage" (totalled car) "This guy was going slower than the speed limit. Look at the damage" (dead children everywhere) The key is NOT TO HIT ANYTHING!!!! Stupidest commercial ever! Also, why is it always guys? ? ? ? I guess they're saying women either don't get in accidents, or there is no damage when they do... quite informative.

The girl at 0:16 can clearly see the car yet goes in front anyway. Plus the fact that the guy looks alert too. He clearly expected to just be able to keep driving instead of having to slam on the brakes for some suicidal teen jumping in front of his car. Edit: Looking back, she appears to be looking down and un-focused, which is her fault for not looking both ways before crossing a street. Even at the speed limit, at that distance, she would still probably be severely injured. Most of the last accident is the pedestrian not being aware.

The voiceover lady probably feels great about herself when she goes 5-10 over the speed limit every time she gets behind the wheel lmao
  • If you are the publishers of this ad and reading this, I got some bad news for you. This doesn’t change many people’s perspective on driving faster or slower, and the part about it being a little over the speed limit and the end result was that a girl was hospitalized just seems near impossible, the guy looked very aware and was driving at a decent speed enough to only cause minor damage at that. I understand your point but the last one just seems very far fetched.
  • The guy who was going a little over the speed limit was barely moving. The girl he hit must’ve tried to commit suicide.
  • @datburn5224
yeah that last one was the kids fault for sure
  • @awesome10443
So the third guy, how did he hit the girl? He was going straight, there was nothing infront of him, yet somehow the girl gets fucking bonked?
  • @kenteyl
So where I live now in SC our neighborhood is 20 mph. Where I used to live in NY our neighborhood was 30 mph. I guess if I drive 25 mph in the 20 mph neighborhood it will cause significantly more damage than if I was going the 30 mph speed limit. Guys just remember speed limits are truly keeping us safe from harm because it’s safer to drive 30 mph than 25 mph in a neighborhood. 🤷‍♂️
  • @npc1374
"this guy never even made it to his car.. look at the damage"...... cuts to him slipping and landing on his car key....
  • @Chugargonfan
Thank goodness he was going a little over the speed limit. That amount of damage means he clipped her. If he was at the speed limit, it would have been a direct hit and she’d have died on impact. You go guy
  • @Ray_vball
even if you are going the speed limit it could still do damage like my mom's friend was driving and hit a deer that totaled the car and she was going the speed limit
