Thanks Alex. This simple design was particularly helpful to watch. As an ex realism illustrator I always end up doing full on shade work, but I love the economy and efficiency of the stipple technique and the finished effect, I really need to crack on and work on mastering the technique and include it in some of my designs. Great work as usual, I noticed you do shading right after lining sometimes. So you keep the same voltage as lining for shading?

Did you already try the new dragonhawk deluxe cartridges? I tryed a few needle groupings and very expressed! They are more stable and the tip fits exactly to the needle groupings..
