I think we both have regrets. | AD: 💻 Try a free week of coding lessons with Boolean's Fundamentals Camp: on.boolean.co.uk/fd_tom_scott

Thanks for having me on, Tom! Thoroughly enjoyed it. I did not enjoy the next morning, however.
-
The ending is almost biblical in its punishment of hubris. It's practically an Aesop's fable.
-
And with a score of 2/10, Gavin wins.
-
"Wet gulp into retching moan" Former transcriptionist. Big respect.
-
As a deaf person i absolutly love the over discriptive subtitles. A big hearty thanks to the team.
-
Gavin saying "oooh, 8." whilst accidentally holding up a whiteboard which effectively reads "ooo 8" made me laugh a lot.
-
Watching the end twice for the amazing subtitles made me realise... Gavin set Tom up for the last question by casually mentioning half an hour as an example, after he realised Tom really had no sense of scale. Nice work Gavin!
-
Todays lesson kids: Don't call hotsauce wet or it will immediately turn evil.
-
The subtitle team adding a 'gluck' while Tom is telling them they've previously been overdescriptive is the absolute height of comedy
-
Tom went from being fine to his eyes trying to escape his skull within milliseconds. And Gav is there thinking "Worth it."
-
21:29 The movement Gavin makes when he is lying down is so efficient, it's a movement born of need not of want.
-
30:30 I can't get over how he said "Yes!", turned around to look for the icecream, then turns back towards Gav literally just to shout in anguish
-
your subtitles team is A+, dont tone them down. they dont distract from the content, they are part of the content. seperate colors for different speakers, variations in text size, and other emphasizations put them at possibly the best CC team on youtube. they handled this one particularly well though.
-
I'm convinced that whoever ordered these questions put the video game one last, knowing damn well that Tom knows nothing about them and Gavin literally plays video games for a living 🤣
-
They both said "its wet" and then the full fury of the fires of hell invaded their mouths. So clearly hot sauce only gets hot if you acknowledge that it is wet.
-
"Thanks Gav" "Anytime." Tom stares into the infinite oblivion and the heat stares back
-
I definitely had to turn on CC after hearing that they tend to over-describe. Was absolutely worth it. Please make sure they are aware of how much we appreciate them.
-
Gavin: "It's wet" Hot sauce activates Tom: "I can see why you said it's wet" Hot sauce activates
-
Fun fact: There is now a 30-year-old dog named Bobi, making Scott even more correct presently.
