Cool John Oliver story. I met him at JFK airport. Told him I really liked his work. He seemed to genuinely appreciate it and said "Oh cheers thank you". Shook his hand and went on my way. Turns out we were on the same flight to the Bahamas. As I walked past him and his family on the plane he recognized me, smiled and waved. Thought that was so cool. I didn't want to come across as a weird fan so I was not planning on saying anything to him again. But at the baggage claim he went out of his way to tell me and my girlfriend "have a great trip guys!". Such a class act and completely down to earth. I don't agree with all his stances but will be a life-long fan anyways.

"This is my Vietnam. I shouldn't have got into this and I've got no good way out." Absolutely sent me.

I adore John. I also can’t get over how British he took this whole thing. He stayed composed with understatements like “I didn’t like that” while tears are coming out of his eyes. Incredible.

John is so delirious at the end that he just claps along when the crew applauds him.

Da Bomb needs to put John's review of it on their bottle from now on IMO. "An objectionable thing for humanity to do. It's not the worst thing we've ever done, but it's part of our worst instincts."
