Das schaut Mal wieder genial aus, danke dafür!👏👍 Ja, die Operation Walküre ist definitiv ein Grund zum Gedenken, das waren echte Männer, die das echte, heilige Deutschland vor einem Wahnsinnigen retten wollten, ich Wette sie würden sich im Grab umdrehen, wenn sie das heutige Deutschland sehen könnten. They all were heroes. I have to say, my view on Stauffenberg and the other resistance fighters really changed over time. In the last years, I thought their effort was useless, because this bloody World War would have gone on until Germany collapsed - this way, or another. And I thought, it would not matter if Hitler died - because he would be replaced by another high ranking National Socialist. Just this year I realized, that it was all about setting a sign and showing the world that not all Germans supported Hitler to the end. As I said: these brave men sacrificed their lives for a free Germany - they are heroes

Ich bewundere diese Männer für ihre Standhaftigkeit, ihren Mut und ihre Aufopferung. Sie haben den Tod nicht gescheut um für ihre Ideale und ein besseres Deutschland geradezustehen und ich denke, dass sollte uns allen ein Beispiel sein🙏 Ruht in Frieden ihr Helden❤

Ernst Junger wrote the Peace plan for the group that they would show to the allies, it was published under the title "The Peace". It's available on Internet Archive I believe.

As an American with German heritage, this could have been a huge game changer in WW2, sadly in a few twists of fate, it failed and Germany couldn't be saved 😢
