I resonate with the majority of these. 8 days sober now, life is better than ever. Keep up the good work man.
  • This is super super relatable. Thank you for sharing. This video is a good reminder to keep myself aware of all these things because I was in denial for so long. 150 days sober today 😊

I think the thing that changed it for me the most was "hair of the dog". Once you start doing that you don't really get to come back from it
  • Looking great bro! Skin is super clear and your face isn’t bloated from the booze. That’s progress. Your body is healing. 40 days sober today!! I too struggled with drinking alone, not knowing when to stop, making people around me worry because of how drunk I would get compared to them. I would always become the drunkest at the parties to the point they no longer wanted me around anymore. Super sad past man but I’m committed to change and healing and bettering myself now
  • Great video, man! Love hearing your honest experiences and it does help others who get tired of the "clinical" types of analysis.

Interesting to hear the confidence in your voice as a youngster that just stopped recently . Not complaining just fascinated

YEAH! Picking the booze over friends and events. That's such a big one. Glad to see you talking about this, this is really useful stuff for people who are worried about how much they're drinking. If you're ditching obligations to drink then you need to take a minute, because you 're on the edge at that point. Thanks man.

What up Slayer, back with another banger🤙 glad you know to take the time you need for yourself. 🚩 I remember the first time I tried hard liquor (vodka) the first shot was the most vile disgusting mouth feel experience I ever had. But as SOON as that warm tingly hit my stomach I no longer cared. I forced down a couple more while gagging and drooling. 🚩🚩 The first time I got access to a whole fifth to myself (which I had shop lifted) I drank almost the whole thing, came to in the morning in my room with no clothes on wrapped in towels proped up on a bean bag with a note from my girlfriend who had thankfully been there with me saying that I had begun convulsing and vomiting and that she had made sure I didn't choke and cleaned me up and gone home. I was 15. I then proceeded to shrug my shoulders and stumble off to school still completely hammered. She probably saved my life. 🚩🚩🚩 Another thing was taking small amounts of all the different liquor from her parents cabinet and mixing it together in one container to chug down, not caring what it tasted like of course. 🚩🚩🚩🚩 As soon as I learned to drive and had a provisional licence my folks let me take the car out. Later that evening I got pulled over drunk with 3 other hooligans in the car and open 40s that we had shoulder tapped some hobos for. The cop allowed my folks to come get me and didnt even give me a DUI but charged me for violating the provisional period, but in my mind it was total bs and I resented it for years. 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩 I was a raging alcoholic from the moment it touched my body. Im thankful to still be here to share these horror stories.

Thanks Slayer for another great video.

It's so helpful to hear this from someone your age who's been through this shit. It doesn't hit the same from a therapist or person of authority. Much love :)
  • Solid video brother. Keep up the good work (inside and outside of youtube) !

Slayer. Hello. Your channel is growing!!! You’re doing a wonderful thing here! I’m proud of you 👍🏻. Great video 🎉💚👏🏻
  • Another sign you're becoming an alcoholic is a reduced gag reflex. When it used to take you 10, 12 drinks to throw up, now it takes you 20, 22, etc. Worse yet, is when you throw up MULTIPLE times in the same bender and KEEP going. That's NOT normal. Most people throw up once then pass out. If you throw up 2, 3, or 4 times in the same bender...you have a problem.
