Jessica Lange (Tootsie), Joan Allen (Nixon) and Kathy Bates (Misery) hit the road in Bonneville, a story about three friends who “come of age” for a second time on a trip across the great American West. Faced with the decision of a lifetime, Arvilla Holden (Lange) loads up her 1966 Bonneville convertible and, with her friends (Allen, Bates) in tow, sets out from Pocatello, Idaho en route to Santa Barbara. As they detour to spots like Bryce Canyon and Las Vegas, it doesn’t take long for the women to realize Arvilla has something unexpected in store. But what none of them realize is that what began as a simple trip will end up becoming a chance to rediscover themselves, their friendship, the importance of promises – and of letting go. Also starring Tom Skerritt and Christine Baranski, Bonneville unites three of the most acclaimed actresses of our time in a story that celebrates fun, adventure and living life to the fullest.

After a rough few years, I finally have overcome a lot of grief and depression. Wish I had such good friends as these three ladies!

I love this movie ❤ My partner died in 2020, his son in TN wanted the ashes, well so did I. I only sent him half in a urn and I kept my half to spread in Coronado Beach, CA. where he wanted his ashes spread, he spent many years and made lasting memories there . I’m taking a trip to California this summer to do just that.

This movie is just what I needed today! My 35 year old daughter lost her life to metastatic breast cancer 3 years ago. I’m trying to find a way to go on without her. 💗🌸

I love the way they laughed when Kathy Bates came home late after a date. It’s so fun to laugh with your friends.

This was a great movie. I lost my husband, Chuck of 43 yrs in 2019. I wish I would of had friends like this. I had friends but they have all gone. I had no friends to see me through my grief. I’m still grieving 3 + years. It has gotten worse. I miss him so much always and forever !

Kathy Bates was the reason I watched this. She does not disappoint. Great movie.
  • This movie. The whole time I was caught up in the memories I have with my best friend of 50 years. We had adventures. I lost her in February of 2022. We had memories,oh the memories. Reminded me so much of us. We were just 17 when we met and lived a lifetime of long distance and close together through our relationship. I miss my Shirley everyday 🤟🏻

  • I loved the movie while it hit home right in my heart as I've had a rough 2022 with the loss of more than one close family member. This movie made dealing with grief feel a little less lonely.

A great story of three good friends supporting one of them who suffers the loss of her husband. A beautifully done movie.
  • What would have set this movie to the most limits is if she found the updated will in the glove box as they were driving off.

Love the truck scene, and...when you realize it's handsome Tom Skerritt 🥰
  • Loved this movie. Four brilliant actors. The three female leads have so much class. The comedy and compassion added that special touch. Thank you.

Thanks so much for this movie. I have had my late husbands ashes since August 2021. He died July 10 2021. I know where he wants his ashes, but I just can't part with them. And there are times I want my ashes to go with his. This movie makes me think. We are our own persons and perhaps it's time to free his person.❤
