can anybody explain to me why they made him like 8 ft tall and 300 pounds of pure muscle in this one? if they did it to make him more intimidating it sure as hell worked because if this version of Michael came after me I wouldn't even have to worry about him killing me, I'd die of a heart attack before he could get to me.

I think what Rob Zombie did with this theme was outstanding. The sound effects and the girl's voice just made it that much darker. John Carpenter's theme excited your fear. This theme fills you with a sense of dread and hopelessness. Loved this movie. The second one.........not so much.

Rob's first approach of Halloween wasn't bad to be honest, just a darker, raw version of Michael. How ever, his sequel kinda went downhill.
  • this scared the shit out of me when i watched it for the first time , in my opinion this is one of the best halloween remakes . Especially the soundtrack , eerie and dark.

I can only imagine what would happen if Rob Zombie did a reboot of, "The Exorcist," like he did with, "Halloween!"

I think Rob did a fantastic job with this movie. I did not want "true to the source material" content, I just enjoy Rob's unique take on the classic film. It's clear he really enjoyed the original, but still wanted to tell the tale his way. Nothing wrong with that, that's what makes a great artist in all of us.

Imagine how terrifying a combination between this Michael and Halloween Kills Michael would have been.
  • 1978 michael myers:a smouth criminal. 2007 michael myers:a broken Psychopathic monster. 2021 michael myers:The boogeyman.

I loved both of rob zombies rendition..the back story the brutality and strength and rage. And then what's going on in Michael's mind
  • Honestly this version of Micheal is probably the scariest version of him. But Halloween kills Micheal was pretty intense. So honestly I don't know which one is scarier

This one actually manages to be more eerie and makes me get shivers. Because it’s not in tune. It always feels more eerie when it’s out of tune.
  • John Carpenter interpretation of Michael Audrey Myers was terrifying. However Rob Zombie's interpretation of Michael was a Raptor who was the next door neighbor's seemingly nice child.😳 7"6 weighing in at 335 pounds. Straight wrecking machine.

I have more respect for Rob's Halloween reboots over the DGG Halloween.
  • I appreciate that Zombie!Michael's doesn't screw around with the mind games or underestimate his victims, he is more straightforward, and that his killings are a lot more gruesome, visceral and thorough. And that he's bigger, bulkier, hairier and his outfit and mask are filthier and more messed up looking. But I also appreciate Carpenter!Michael's mystic, stealth, soullessness, voicelessness, nigh-invincibility, his superhuman patience and has absolutely no redeeming qualities nor personal ties to anyone. Being framed as a force of nature who draws power from death. Combine these two together and you'd get the most formidable and terrifying abomination to ever exist.
  • You are running for yo life but at 0:40 Michael comes out the shadows and goes after you
