Pygmon also appear in both manga and Netflix's Ultraman. And unlike his live action counter part in both adaptations he is a prince of his endangered race, and was hiding in on earth under the protection of the Star Cluster Council. Unfortunately he was killed by the council's enforcer Adad for violating the council's rules when he tried to protect the Idol singer that he was a fan off from a hired killer.

Thanks Prof! You are a fountain of knowledge. Pigmon is the bravest little Kaiju of all. When they sing taps for him after he sacrifices himself for Edo it's way over the top! Also, The Lawless Monster Zone is a great prog rock album title.

I grew up wanting but never getting to see the Ultra Q and Ultraman series. Today I bought a Pigmon figurine in a vintage toy store and finally started watching Ultra Q on YouTube. Now I want more figurines! I never would have guessed this guy has such a long pedigree, thanks for making such a great video!

The scapegoat sadly to other monsters' wrath. 0:30, there's also Lidorias from Cosmos too. 4:15, damn. 6:18, there we go. 10:05, you thought the previous appearances of Pigmon were heartwrenching? This episode of X made Pigmon very, very tragic. Edit: Oh wait, nvm. He lives. 11:43, aw man...poor guy. :(

Pretty good stuff. As much as I would like to see another Ultra kaiju, I think spreading some love to some none Ultra giant hero series might work really well. Spectreman, Fireman, Mirrorman, Iron King, Mach Baron...anything from there would be a cool change of pace for a Youtube video. I did a vid on Hedoran from Spectreman years ago lol. And that seems to be like the only thing out there about any of Spectreman's monsters. Which is a shame because there is some good ones out there.
