I feel Sony was really lacking in the farming simulator department

It was so nice of Nintendo to include smaller franchises like Zelda and Pikmin in their anime farm direct, very cool
  • What agricultural crisis does Japan have to be in right now to warrant THIS MANY farming simulators?
  • I was watching this Direct with a friend, and we started laughing more and more with each farming game they showed.
  • In an alternate dimension: "OMG Sony, what's with all the action games!?" - Donkey, the farming enthusiast.

"Maybe people should get a real spouse" Dunkey flexing his marriage on us now.

Best part about this is that they announced pikmin in that direct. You know.... The game where you fight by effectively pulling plants out of the ground.

Sony is going in a bold direction with no farming rpgs on the roster. It really is a shame to see them so out of touch with the wants and desires of gamers.
  • If i hadn't seen the Nintendo Direct myself, I'd never had believed that all of these farming games actually was announced at the same time
  • “Nintendo you gonna have to show one hell of a farming game after that” 😂😂😂😂😂 best line in the video ! Lmfao

I remember seeing a comment saying "They didn't show the title for Tears of the Kingdom during the UK direct because the Queen had just died." Which honestly is just the most coincidental thing I've ever heard when it comes to naming a videogame.
  • It’s a shame Sony is experiencing such hard times and can’t keep up with the massive demand for farming simulators that Nintendo can provide
  • I can’t help but be impressed with the advanced levels of trolling it takes to announce a Pikmin mobile game before the real Pikmin game.
  • I love to think that all of these games began development while stardew valley had it's peak success, and now they're showing them all at the same time because they simultaneously had the genius thought of "what if it was anime?" and the games are finally ready to be showcased
  • The second time they announced a farming simulation game in that direct I was like “Huh. What an odd genre of game to get 2 games announced in one direct”. And then it happened 4 more times.
  • The video game industry isn’t actually dying, it’s evolving into a farming simulator industry. Nintendo’s gonna be the one to laugh last

i think nintendo took the term "farming" and "grinding" to literally and didn't understood what it actually meant

For Bigmode’s first game they publish it should definitely be along the lines of a farm simulator, from market research it seems to be the fastest growing game genre.
