The one thing that always impressed me about Zoro is how different he is than other "2nd to the MC characters" I watched one piece relatively late in my anime journey so by the time I started it, I was used to the Vegeta Sasuke types. The "I'm not actually your friend! Its just that being on your team is beneficial" Types and I expected Zoro to be just like them and not even acknowledging that hes a pirate until later in the story. But no, once he made a promise to Luffy he was all in and kept his word and dedicated himself to the person he calls a captain he never saw it as a game or some half assed deal. Zoro instantly gained my respect as a character once I realized this (Ironically during the filler conversation between him and Chopper about joining the crew in alabasta)

The fact that this one is longer than the rest if not the longest videos, shows how important zoro really is, not just as a member, but as a character in general.

Ya know. All things considered. One piece is such a beautifully written story.

Reminder that zoro is not vice captain in title. Of all the crew members he clearly is the one who takes on the role the most, however he never was given the title officially. Which I love since despite all his ability and everything it still shows that he’s equal to everyone on the crew other then luffy in the « hierarchy » of the straw hat

You’re right there never will be another Zoro nor should there be. Because then it be boring, the inspiration behind him is what will lead to others to make their own path. Someone who’s honest, loyal and determined no matter what comes their way will continue to move forward. And most important of all someone who will be a true friend.
