Once you put it in the context of his Gettysburg address it all makes sense: “The Battle of Gettysburg. What an unbelievable — it was so much and so interesting, and so vicious and horrible, and so beautiful in so many different ways. It represented such a big portion of the success of this country. Gettysburg, wow.” See what I mean; and the rain when the rocks are small with the moon hoping ducks sinking on the fence. It all makes perfect sense.
