8:47 something similar happened to my niece when she was 11 or 12 years old. She was visiting family in another state. It was the BF of cousin who violated her while making her believe that this was ok. My niece’s father tragically died around that same time. I was living in RI and sometimes wish I had been living closer before my niece’s nightmare started. She never told anyone about what happened, but ultimately got in with the wrong crowd. I don’t understand how this can happen to anyone in the world, especially young adolescents who put their full trust in people who they believe are supposed to care for them NOT violate them. It took years of rehab and therapy and a whole lot of love for my niece to regain any sense of trust in others and purpose in this world. If I knew who those men were that violated her … God only knows what I would do. My heart breaks for Sandra. Praying for justice for Sandra and her baby in Indiana. 🙏🏼

12:15 why they haven’t come forward, IMO, fear, guilt, shame, and confusion are just a few reasons why some don’t come forward. My niece’s situation didn’t involve LEO’s, but did involve several men who manipulated her to the point of making her believe that they had some kind of special relationship with her. She did say that she never knew how to set boundaries. The men seemed genuine and caring at first but once they crossed the line she felt used and worthless. Just sharing to give a little insight on what young women, such as Sandra, may have experienced in the grooming process. Again, my niece is doing very well today and has been able to rebuild her life with her 2 children, her brother and extended family.

Anyone curious who’s idea it was that Sandra move to Canton ? Is there a reason they wanted her in that area for the investigation ?
