I bought an extremely cheap Alienware gaming PC and got more than I bargained for.

There's no way Nvidia thought a single fan could cool 2 flagship GPUs💀

Ok, so I'm 2:16 into the video and I have to say the this is hands down and by far the best presentation of the discovery of alien artifacts I have ever seen. Dawid, please never lose you sense of humor and sarcasm!

5:55 Unfocused man shouting at me “run to a store and buy an SSD” would have been the perfect segway to a Microcenter AD! 😂
  • @EthanLeitch
Didn't need the DVI adapter, the card has mini displayport 1.2 which can do 1440p at 144hz and 4k at 75hz.

Nice, you found one of the "gilled" Alienwares... Those are pretty neat looking.

G'day Dawid, The Autopsy Sequences are AWESOME! 🤔it's name is Patrick ???... is this an old GN PC 😂 PS I like the look of these old Alienware PCs as they remind me of a Retro Futuristic Locomotive like Snowpiercer

1:27 the fogged up glasses… the struggle is real😅 also, I would’ve used “detritus” to describe the whole pc as well 😂

Imagine a time when the top-spec GPU only used 250W at full tilt. What a world.
  • @xiradio
That looks like mini-displayport on the graphics card.

    > Dawid suicides itself on Tomb Raider. > Alienware Suicides itself after that.

Such a cool video. I was beaming during the autopsy.

Should have checked those stains on it with a U.V. light 🤣🤣🤣

I love the way the top ventilation vents open when it powers up.

I aspire to become a re-paster one day.

The 2GB VRAM per card is never utilised as 4GB VRAM in total, it is limited to 2GB VRAM total when running SLi. If you want to know why VRAM doesn't combine in multi-GPU setups is simply because there's no interface fast enough to allow for data sharing that they could use in a practical manner i.e., without bulky or expensive connections. This is also on top of the fact that now there's another layer of memory that the GPU has to check (if it's not in its VRAM, it has to go to the other card's VRAM), which could induce more latency which is something you don't want in real-time 3D rendering. And since the "most compatible" multi-GPU rendering mode is alternate-frame rendering, they both need the same assets anyway.

The return of Vileda! And the "Alien Autopsy" X-Files-ish font just sets the scene so well. This channel is soooo underrated.
