10. Sheepadoodle 0:40

Sheepadoodles are a fluffy crossbreed developed from an Old English Sheepdog and a Poodle. They are very intelligent dogs that have some amazing, curly coat.

They often have white-colored fur with black patches over it, which is why they remind some people of Panda bears. And indeed, when they are still puppies, Sheepadoodles resemble Panda cubs quite a lot!

9. Australian Labradoodle 01:04

Australian Labradoodles are a popular crossbreed that is bred out of 6 different breeds: Labrador, Poodle, Irish Water Spaniel, Curly Coat Retriever, American Cocker Spaniel, and English Cocker Spaniel!

Why they are on this list? Just look at how much Australian Labradoodle puppies look like teddy bears! They have the same, dark, round eyes as those bear-like stuffed toys!

8. Bouvier des Flandres 01:35

Bouvier des Flandres is a Belgium dog breed originating from the Flandres region. They make excellent guard dogs and are also lovely family companions.

When they are still small, you can’t tell them apart from a grizzly bear cub. They have the same fur coat, and are equally cute! Their clumsiness just makes you overloaded with cuteness.

7. Poodle 02:00

Maybe adult Poodles don’t really look like bears, you’re right. But have you ever seen poodle puppies?

These wonderful, small creatures of curly fur and clumsy movements irresistibly look like those real-life looking teddy bears you can find in fancy stores.

6. Pomeranian 02:18

Pomeranians are a terrific choice for anyone wanting a toy dog that has a teddy bear appearance. They are so fluffy and have these beautiful, round eyes that can easily get you hypnotized.

It is a real question if Pomeranians are even cuter than the popular toy bears… We can’t really decide who’s the winner in this ‘cuteness’ competition.

5. Chow-chow 02:38

This list wouldn’t be complete without this gorgeous dog. The chow chow is an amazing dog breed originating from China that has the appeal of a teddybear and the drollness of a panda.

All their features just inevitably remind us of bears. Just, look at this resemblance… Are we sure chow chows aren’t just well-tamed bears?

4. Samoyed 03:02

Samoyed dogs are definitely the closest a dog can get to a polar bear. You might think that the resemblance isn’t that striking, but wait until you see how Samoyed puppies look like!

Almost the same as the polar bear cubs. In fact, we’re quite sure that even a polar bear mama wouldn’t tell them apart!

3. Caucasian Ovcharka 03:26

When you just take a look at this breed, there is little left to stay. Caucasian Ovcharka dogs are so large that they could probably scare off a real, wildlife bear.

These dogs guard livestock in Caucasus mountains and are so powerful that they can ware off wolves and other predators. Pretty impressive for a dog, huh? And look how much they look like grizzly bears!!!

2. Newfoundland 03:49

Newfoundland dogs are so big that if you saw them from far away in the middle of a forest, you would surely think you just saw an American black bear.

They have a large head with a dark brown to black thick coat that is definitely bear-like. However, don’t let their appearance mislead you. These dogs have a sweet personality that makes them wonderful family dogs that get along with small children.

1. Tibetan Mastiff 04:14

Now seriously, is this a bear or a dog? Are we 100% sure that these dogs DON’T have any bear genes?

This dog is named Tibetan Mastiff and it is surely one of the strongest dog breeds out there. Apart from looking like bears, nomadic tribes of Tibet even used them to protect their livestock from actual bears, wolves, leopards and tigers! Talk about a bear-like dog! Tibetan mastiff is the personification of a bear inside a dog’s body.
