STORYLINE:
At age 50, after a decade without stepping on a stage, Michael Jackson was rehearsing in private and planning a concert which will be completely different from anything we had experimented before, the only spectators at that time were a small group of technicians and dancers who watched how Michael created a show which would mark his return to the stage. On July 13, 2009 he performed at the O2 arena in London with his opening tour, THIS IS IT.

Had four tickets to the first opening night show of the ‘This is it’ tour. Tragically, never got to use them. No doubt in my mind that it would have been one of the greatest live shows ever performed. This is a really excellent approximation of what the experience would have been like. From what I can remember, the special effects were going to be revolutionary and involved 3D audience interaction with characters and creatures actually out amongst the audience. From the tracks here, Earth Song and Man in the Mirror are probably my favs, but let’s face it, every track is leagues above anything from any artist today. I count myself extremely lucky to have seen Michael Jackson live previously and always felt he had one more legendary tour in him. Sadly, we never got to see it. Thanks for giving us the closest thing to it.

Music has not recovered from the lost of Michael Jackson. There has not been a musician to date that is even approaching his level of mastery of music, dance, and performance. He was a child prodigy in the tradition of Mozart and Beethoven. He worked very hard early in his youth at the insistence of his father, Joseph. Parents these days are not intrested in greatest, but well rounded mediocre children who barely read and write these days.

Watching this makes me so emotional. I wish this man was here with us today. I miss him so much. Music hasn't been the same since his death and it will never recover. Thank you for sharing this!!

If MJ didn't make you move you were dead, he was and still is considered One of the greatest entertainers to ever grace a stage.

The world lost an amazing human being who loved his family and fans with all his heart. There will never be another performer like Michael in this lifetime, a true legend whose heart was incredible in size. He was a victim of jealous and evil people that stopped at nothing to destroy the man who only wanted to make people happy and bring peace to the world and make it a better place. You will be deeply missed forever and we will never forget everything you did for this world❤️ How blessed Heaven is to have received you as their Angel 👼 RIP Michael, you will be loved for all eternity❤️

On June 25, 2021 the one & only KING of POP has been in heaven for 12 years already. We, his loyal fans and followers will once again commemorate his legacy and contributions to the world of entertainment. Until now, its May 7, 2021 Im still in so much owe watching your concerts,, YOU are really the KING of Kings... ILOVEU MJ!!!!
